Why make a home kit?
Hi I’m Fee, founder of Sugarflick and creator of the home facial hair removal kit ~ The Top Lip Kit.
I started Sugarflick 21 years ago after 15 years in criminal justice (you’ll hear stories of that in the salon) and a few other interesting jobs. But you don’t need to know all that; you just need to know… does it work?

If I told you I’ve been removing hair from human bodies for over 20 years, would you trust my product? I am a real human who has personally seen thousands of women over the years. All of that knowledge has been poured into this wee jar, and AI didn’t write this blog post; I did!
Here I am, a real person with one of the hair removal kits!
Where did the idea come from?
This kit came out of years of working with women with PCOS, menopausal hair and many failed attempts at removing them. Those overnight poppers, black hairs springing up, all a hard battle to win. Desperation can lead to tweezers or a tub of chemicals; that was never a great idea, was it? We know there are hundreds of products out there and many on social media. You’ll see many an influencer saying “look at this, I was blown away with…” and “Oh my God guys you gotta try this.” Really! How much were they paid to say that? The big question we often ask ourselves before we buy is ~ Do any of those products actually work?
We feel that you can trust our clients’ feedback more than any influencer. Don’t get me wrong, some ladies have been sent our kit to blog about and have loved it. These are real women who help other women, not big names with millions of followers who get paid for saying what they say. Real people giving real feedback and some of these ladies are our own Sugarflick clients. Personally, I don’t trust anyone paid to say “yay, this works.” If you do not want to end up looking like you have been slapped, this is for you. Seriously ~ some of the hair removal products out there are just brutal.
Try something sweeter, kinder to your skin and the planet.
This kit lasts longer than you think, and it’s a genuine time and money saver. It was a no-brainer to be honest; I had wanted to make a kit for years. At first we gave loads of free lessons and free kits out to some of our clients. You’ll find videos on social media from the launch, and you’ll also see that the price was £14.95 back then. Five years later, we feel a price rise is well overdue, so now at £19.95 it’s the same kit, just more reflective of rising costs.
