Now in our 20th year, Sugarflick are the longest-running body sugaring salon in Southampton, specialising in Brazilian & Hollywood waxing, all with sugar, for all genders. We are all about people & comfort. We do not rush you, judge you, or embarrass you. You will be back, we guarantee it!

Training & experience
Training
Fee, Sugarflick’s owner, was trained back in 2005 by Nagwa Stanforth of Sukar in Leeds. Nagwa now retired, was the original sugaring guru. From Egypt she came to the UK bringing her art and knowledge before anyone else.

Fee trains all her staff to a very high standard, with months of training, not days or any online course, it is all hands-on.

As well as almost 20 years of experience, we are of course fully trained. Our insurance is renewed every year, and did you know that we spend 99% of our time doing Brazilian & Hollywood treatments (all with sugar)?
Our philosophy
At Sugarflick we treat you as an individual and we are fully aware that some clients may be very shy or nervous about having a Brazilian or Hollywood wax, and most importantly, we will not rush you.
We are sure that you will find our premises clean & professional whilst experiencing your appointment as very private. We ask you to read the welcome email we send you carefully when you first book with us, so you understand our setup and most importantly, how to look after your skin, before and after a treatment.
Our aim is to give clients the best Brazilian or Hollywood possible, with the least discomfort.
How we work
Sugarflick removes hair all day long using the natural product of sugar, and with our own sugar paste, water-soluble, made from natural ingredients. Sugaring is much better for you, your skin, and the environment. The sugar used to make our paste is not processed with bone char so it’s totally vegan and always has been. Our sugar pastes are fully certified and licenced.
We have excellent lighting so we can see all we need to, to give you a top-notch service. You will experience a lot of banter, and meet staff that are all round good eggs.
Our story
Way back when
It started over 20 years ago and if you wish to read more, you can go to our blog section. The short version is after years of working in job after job at the age of 40 I took a massive change in direction and learnt to sugar. I got experience in London’s Soho where I met Simon who gave me the name Sugarflick in that strong brummie accent, what a gem he was and I set up at home in 2005. With all those years behind me, and still going, there are many stories to tell.
