Do I trim before a wax?
A common question, yes, we all wish to avoid that searing moment when hair gets caught and tugged from any body part. Oooophhh madam… when you are caught by the short and curlies, this can be rather unpleasant. “Caught by the fuzz” ~ my favourite Supergrass track about the police, not pubic hair but fuzz is very much the topic here and being caught by it is not pleasant!

Whether you are going pantless in ya Levi’s or catching some pubes on your jewellery, neither is something you would choose to do, unless you’re into that… not going there! But when you come for a wax or a sugar, we might need to trim longer hair in the area we will treat.
Before your appointment, please do trim any long hair yourself if you are able. We advise that you don’t clipper the area because this can leave some of the hair a bit too short. “If in doubt, do nowt” and we can trim it for you.
When you are having a Brazilian, longer hair can wander over to the opposite section we are dealing with so please help us help you and give it a wee trim before you come in. Do not end up in A&E ~ if you can’t see it, can’t reach it, just leave it. We ask that you just be aware that this can add time on to your appointment, we appreciate your understanding.
