Can I have a wax if I am on my period?
Joking aside, whatever you call your “days” as one lady once said, not heard of that one, but please know it is not a big deal, we will look after you. We even have some sanitary products in-house, if you get caught short.
If you have a treatment a few days before a period or on the day, it can be a tad uncomfortable. If it has arrived when you arrive, fret not, we can still do a treatment, we wear gloves, and if you wear a tampon or a moon cup, all is good to go.
Not everyone is a fan of the bleached cotton plugs or having it done on their “days”. Some ladies may only be able to wear a surfboard or brick, as we called it in the 80’s, but please just ask, it is a very common question. Never apologise for having a period, we are women too! If you are not comfortable with this, not a problem at all just please do let us know asap and we will reschedule your booking.
