That name Sugarflick

“On all fours in a basement in Soho” is what I told a mate once back in the early days when they asked what had I been doing that day. The funniest man ever, Simon Murphy, introduced me to his salon and Sean Miller (x-it) in London’s Soho back in 2005. Simon Murphy gave me the name Sugarflick at the time and he will be forever missed. He lost a battle to cancer some years later:(

I think he would be very happy for me to still be going strongly, how time has flown. It is because of him that it all started. God Bless you Simon, the funniest man I ever met. This image is Simon & myself in Nov 2008 at VK Hair where I set up with Emma.

In Nov 2008 Emma and I set up in a room in VK Hair in the area that is now known as Guildhall Square. VK hair has long gone and the area is now a mix of bars and eateries.
