Exfoliating – you dont need to spend a fortune
There are so many things that can be used to make an exfoliator, some may even be in your food cupboard! Seriously, exfoliating products are not something that need to cost the earth.
When you see products with the “no” claims (no parabens, no sulphates, no formaldehydes) then do do not list any ingredients at all! that’s a red flag right there! I saw a product on Am8zon today with no list, nothing, lots of claims of no this and no that, but nothing listed, how do they get away with this?

note on product [1]
If you are reading this now and want to know what will work, have a look online. Pop in words like “homemade exfoliating” or “paraben free exfoliator” but check the ingredients.
I read this great review from Evelien in the Netherlands about this Lush product. I have personally often used “ocean salt” and just added my own salt to make it last.
Use websites that list the ingredients and can prove their claims of wonder ie words like clinically proven, and read the stats to back this up? We can all say stuff like 8 out of 10 cats, but where is their evidence? Choose well and be cautious; always check what you are putting on your skin.
Lush have the most wonderful staff to answer any questions.
