Work underway
Stripped out in January then we are underway…
Tuesday 11th Feb, then on Wed 12th, insulation in, some plumbing in, latex down, but badly in places, electrics were next…
Above, images of no. 25 after the strip out, we taped the floor out yet builders still managed to mess up the wall in the pillar room (centre image). July 25, our electrician stated “who ever did these electrics is not an electrician” the plumber “you have a leak in the stud wall here, the plaster is wet” There was no water going in we did not have a sink, just plumbing and drainage in for later, not touched since they left in Feb 25 so it had leaked all that time. The drainage pipe sizes were wrong too and they knew what we were putting in later. How very disappointing. We had horrible cheap plastic pipes, yes lots will use this to save money but we now have copper pipes and all fixed and made good. That is just some of the many c0ck ups not even listed here, there are too many, yet they felt they “did me a favour” and “bent over backwards for me” very poor workmanship and standards. I got an Iceland service for a John Lewis price.
Now the mopping up has been done by professionals with high standards – we will soon have a launch.
