A bill you can fix
From the 1st of July we regret having to raise our prices a little. Here is why, and here is what you can do about it.
Unless you have been under a rock you will know yet again there is another increase in our energy bills. I watched Tim Jarvis, OFGEM’s Interim Chief Executive, last week talk about the average household looking at a 13% rise. For every £100 you spend, he said, it will now be £113. Ouch. So of course, we have to look at it this way, it is not just the extra £13, everything else has gone up too. For many households, that’s not just £13, it’s a lot more, and something or many things have to go.
Like you, we feel every single one of those rising costs and trying to keep a small business going is tough. Utilities, insurance, licences, online payment fees, GoCardless fees, website costs, stock and more, all of it has gone up. The truth is, we haven’t increased our prices anywhere near enough to keep up. We’ve absorbed what we could and smiled along the way, but we have now reached a point where we can no longer do that.
I am no Martin Lewis, and I completely understand that things are tight for most of us. Sugaring, waxing, nails, a tattoo, a massage, none of these are essential, let’s face it! This got me thinking, can I offer any more memberships? We have done the maths, and we can open up a few more memberships. You cannot fix all of your bills, but you can fix this one.
We currently offer just 3 types of memberships, our most popular ones, bush & zip (ladies) and back pack (gents). We can look into fixing your price for 12 months if it is not one of these and give you a membership if you want to continue being sugared.
