Sugaring Practitioner Want to join our lovely team
We are Sugarflick, Southampton’s longest-running body sugaring salon. We’re searching for the right person to join us and are looking for a mature, warm, and genuinely caring individual. A new client may take years to work up the courage to book their first Brazilian, a welcoming, non-judgmental approach is what we need from applicants.
Returning to work after children? Career change? Picking up beauty or waxing again after a break? Keep reading – this could be perfect for you!
What we’re looking for:
- At least 2 years of proven waxing experience (intimate hair removal preferred but not essential) – we will train you in our techniques. We do 99% Brazilians & Hollywoods, so you’ll become an expert in this.
- Sugaring experience is a bonus but not essential. As mentioned above, we will train you in our unique hand and strip sugaring technique, but you will also learn other really handy techniques that nobody else out there will teach you!
- Part of our training? How to NOT destroy your own body. After years of meeting burned-out therapists, we look after you; we do things differently. We even have an osteopath on board to guide you on stretching and how to look after yourself and avoid RSI.
- A genuine love for people and making them feel confident is a must.
- Flexible hours to suit, and we ask for one evening a week plus 1 or 2 Saturdays (half-day) a month

You will not be left alone to sugar one of our clients until both you and Fee, the owner and trainer, are confident.
The Role:
Provide expert sugaring treatments, welcome clients, maintain our high hygiene standards, manage bookings, and offer excellent aftercare advice.
